Introduction｜はじめに
Kifune Shrine is a historic shrine
deep in the mountains of northern Kyoto.
It is known as a shrine connected with water,
rain,
and the quiet flow of nature.
貴船神社は、
京都の山あいにある
水の神様を祀る神社。
川の音や、
少しひんやりした空気が残る、
自然と信仰が重なった場所です🌿

三社詣｜Three Shrine Pilgrimage
Kifune Shrine is made up of
three connected shrine areas:
the Main Shrine,
Yui no Yashiro,
and Okumiya.
Many visitors walk through them in order.
貴船神社は、
本宮・結社（ゆいのやしろ）・奥宮の
三つの社から成る神社。
順番にお参りする
「三社詣（さんしゃもうで）」でも知られています。
山の奥へ進むような構造になっているのも、
この神社らしい特徴です。

神社の中心でもあります。
赤い灯籠が並ぶ石段は、
貴船神社を代表する景色。
水占みくじでも有名です。

結社｜Yui no Yashiro

さまざまなご縁を願う場所として知られています。
本宮から奥宮へ向かう途中にあるのも、

奥宮｜Okumiya
Okumiya is located
deeper in the mountain path.
The atmosphere here feels calmer
and more secluded.
奥宮（おくのみや）は、
さらに山の奥にある社。
本宮よりも静かで、
少し空気が変わるような感覚があります。
現在の本宮より前の
旧社地と伝わる場所でもあります。

夜の貴船神社｜Special Night Illumination
During limited seasonal events,
the shrine is illuminated at night.
The red lanterns
create a completely different atmosphere.
季節限定のライトアップでは、
石段の灯籠に灯りがともります。
昼は「水の神社」。
夜は、
静かな光の参道のような空気になります🌙

貴船川と川床｜Kibune River & Kawadoko Dining
Kibune is also famous
for its riverside dining culture called “Kawadoko.”
Platforms are built above the river during summer.
貴船は、
川床（かわどこ）文化でも有名。
夏には、
川の上に床を組み、
涼しい空気の中で食事を楽しむ風景が見られます。
参拝のあと、
川の音を聞きながら過ごす時間も、
この場所らしい魅力のひとつです🌿
