Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of more than 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan.
Founded in 711, it is one of Kyoto’s most famous shrines and welcomes millions of visitors every year.
The shrine is dedicated to Inari Okami, the deity of prosperity, agriculture, and business success.
Today, it remains one of the most visited shrines in Japan.

Main Hall｜本殿

Built in the distinctive “Inari-zukuri” architectural style, it has been designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
Standing behind the Outer Worship Hall, the Main Hall forms the spiritual center of the shrine.
Visitors usually offer their prayers from the Outer Worship Hall while facing the sacred Main Hall.
